Amy - Co-President
Amy is a senior from Ann Arbor, MI double majoring in Neuroscience and Spanish. She hopes to become a physician and work with underserved populations after graduating and going to medical school. Amy joined CURIS in order to learn about public health issues and better understand the unique obstacles that her future patients will face. Outside of CURIS, Amy does neuroscience research and volunteers as a tutor. She also enjoys playing the piano in her free time.
Emily - Co-President
Emily is a senior from Northville, MI studying Community and Global Public Health. She joined CURIS because she was interested in taking the public health knowledge learned in her classes to create impact in the local community through local partnerships on public health projects. She hopes to become a doctor who holistically combines public health and medicine and emphasizes health promotion and disease prevention in her care. She has studied abroad in Thailand and Peru!
Marilyn - Vice-President
Marilyn is a sophomore from Long Grove, IL intending on majoring in public health sciences. She joined CURIS because she wanted to improve population health through local community partnerships. Outside of CURIS, Marilyn does research on health disparities and is also involved in global health activities! She aspires to be a physician who also works to reduce health disparities, identifying barriers to care and implementing more preventative medicine. Fun fact: Marilyn has had all sorts of pets before - ducks, geese, swans, chickens, a cat and a dog.
Geeta - Secretary
Geeta is a sophomore from Rochester, MI majoring in neuroscience and minoring in gender and health. She joined CURIS because she was fascinated by how seemingly unrelated issues can have an impact on population health. She aspires to be a physician and public health policy contributor. Fun fact: her favorite book she read this summer was Kindred by Octavia Butler.

Nishika - Treasurer/Education Chair
Nishika is a junior from Canton, MI studying Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology (MCDB). She joined CURIS because of her passion for public health issues and a desire to make a difference in the local community. She is currently on the pre-med track hoping to be a pediatrician who not only understands the importance of public health but can also gauge the impact that public health related policies can have on the day-to-day lives of her patients. Fun fact: She changed schools 6 times before she graduated high school!

Claire - Social/Recruitment Chair
Claire is a junior from Rochester Hills, MI studying Public Health Sciences. She joined CURIS to get involved with local promotion of public health and to join a community of like-minded students.
